Note: Legal Administrative Assistants cannot practice law, but can aid in the development of legal documents such as wills, estate plans, lawsuits, etc., while working under the direction and supervision of a licensed attorney. Paralegals in Ontario, and the rest of Canada, need to be licensed to practice independently. Students wishing to pursue such careers should ensure that they would be able to meet the licensing requirements before enrolling.
