The Medical Laboratory Assistant/Technician Program of Everest College of Business, Technology and Health Care will host this year's National Medical Laboratory Week Cell-ebration on Wednesday, April 21 from noon to 5 p.m. EST at its Kitchener campus in Ontario, Canada.
The event is meant to recognize the medical laboratory profession and its role in the health care field. The theme will be "Medical Laboratory Professionals: The Diagnostic Engine of Canada's Health Care System" and includes colorful and informative displays about laboratory tests and diseases.
Additionally, there will be a Blood Clinic to help improve the student's proficiency in phlebotomy. Volunteers are encouraged to participate.
