Everest's Toronto Central Campus Trains Tomorrow's Network Administrators

Network AdministratorComputer technology is constantly evolving, forcing computer users to evolve with it. To keep their computer systems current, companies, institutions and government agencies rely on network administrators. Trained in computer system operations, connectivity and security, network administrators are key players in today’s information technology (IT) industry.

Everest College of Business, Technology and Health Care is helping to ensure Ontario’s economy has the trained network administrators it needs to keep up with rapid technological change. At its Toronto Central campus, Everest offers a Network Administrator career education program that provides students with the knowledge, skills and hands-on experience needed to qualify for entry-level positions in this exciting and challenging field.

Network Administrator Program Training

Everest’s Network Administrator program provides students with a practical overview of computer components, operations, network architecture and maintenance. Courses cover such topics as:

  • Networking concepts
  • Network routing and design
  • Operating systems
  • Network management

Classes are held in a computer laboratory setting. There are a limited number of students per class, ensuring each student gets the individualized attention he/she needs. Instructors are IT professionals who know the practical, as well as theoretical, aspects of computer networking.

The program can be completed in as little as 12 months. After that, Everest’s Career Services team helps program graduates prepare winning resumes, practice effective interviewing skills and seek out local employment opportunities.
